Hotel Alsterblick

Built in 1891, the hotel features an ancient lift, high stucco ceilings, wooden floorboards and the most beautiful staircase in the city, all of which lend special, individual charm to the building.

The hotel offers a meeting and conference room for up to 25 delegates. Modern conference technology, such as wireless internet access and a projector, as well as a full catering service are provided.

All rooms feature stylish furnishings and are fitted with modern bathrooms. The prominent feature of some of the rooms is an antique, intricately designed coal oven.

The hotel is located right in the centre of the city and is easily accessible.

Arriving by car:

Via the A23 towards Husum or via the A7 from Flensburg/Kiel:
- Take the exit "Stellingen" and head towards the centre ("Zentrum")
- Once you have crossed the river, turn left into the road An der Alster, which then becomes Schwanewik
- After the sharp bend to the left, you will find our hotel on the right-hand side

Via the A1 from Lübeck or via the A24 from Berlin:
- At the end of the A24 motorway, at the roundabout "Horner Kreisel", head towards the centre ("Zentrum")
- After approx. 3.5 km turn right into Wallstraße, which then becomes Sechslingspforte
- Continue to the end of the road and then turn right into the road Schwanenwik
- Follow the road, which has a sharp bend to the left
- You will find the hotel on the right-hand side

Via the A7 from Hanover or the A1 from Bremen:
- At the junction Horster Dreieck head towards Lübeck on the A1
- At Dreieck-Süd continue towards the centre on the A255
- After you have crossed the Elbbrücken bridges for approx. 2.5 km, take the B75 (Heidenkampsweg)
- After the railway underpass at Berliner Tor turn left into Wallstraße, which then becomes Sechslingspforte
- Continue to the end of the road and then turn right into the road Schwanenwik
- Follow the road, which has a sharp bend to the left
- You will find the hotel on the right-hand side

Arriving by public transport:

From Hamburg's main railway station:
- Take bus number 6 towards Borgweg underground station
- Get out at the stop Mundsburger Brücke
or
- Take the underground line U2 towards Wandsbek Gartenstadt and get out at the station Mundsburg
- From both the bus stop and the underground station, it takes 5-10 minutes to reach the hotel on foot

From the airport (Fuhlsbüttel):
- Take the Airport Express as far as Ohlsdorf underground station
- From there take the S-Bahn (city rail) number S1 to the main railway station
- From there, continue as described above
or
- From the airport, take the bus 172 as far as the stop Mundsberg
